Couples Parts Therapy

Cor ad Cor Loquitur ♥️

This Latin phrase translates literally as ‘heart speaks to heart.’ It describes a form of communication on a deeply authentic and intimate emotional level which exists beyond cognitive thinking.

Of course this is the ideal! In reality, our wounded parts often get in the way preventing us being able to connect with our partner in this deeply satisfying way. Parts who struggle to trust, who are afraid of conflict, who fear being vulnerable and open, who find it difficult to express needs, who fear rejection or judgment- these are just a few of the parts who can prevent truly intimate connection.

In Couples Parts Therapy, we will explore the parts of each of you who most commonly ‘get in the way,’ when you try to connect with each other. The therapy will help you to know each other better, to gain a deeper understanding of why yours and your partner’s parts are triggered in your relationship and what to do about it- together.

This package comprises 6 sessions of individual Somatic Parts Therapy for each of you and 6 sessions together. Only by understanding yourself better can you work on the individual triggers which bring up the behaviour and reactions of your parts in your relationship. Working individually as well as together is the most effective way to achieve lasting change.

The fee for this package is £1500, a saving of £90 on individually priced sessions. Individual sessions are 60 minutes, couples sessions are 75 minutes. If you would prefer to book on a session to session basis that can also be accommodated.

Please get in touch to book an initial session together. This first session is charged individually so that you can decide whether you would like to go ahead and book the package.
